Architectural Environments

Dr. James Allen and Dr. George Clayton came to Architectural Environments, pllc when they realized that their practice was growing at rate that would require the possibility of an entirely new facility.  We were able to look at their patient flow and evaluate their facility to determine the best path that would address their needs.   

We designed a new 15,000 square foot, two-story facility for their practice that is located within Maryland Farms on Old Hickory Blvd. in Brentwood, Tennessee.  In addition to providing the architectural services for their building, Architectural Environments, pllc was retained to provide design services for all the future tenants to be located within this facility.

Architectural Environments served as the lead firm in charge of the executive level for the Chairman and  Directors for TVA.  This project encompassed the entire top level of the new office facility within the Highland Ridge office park.  The facility is to serve as a showcase for TVA and its customer base.  The   entire project is designed as a learning/conferencing center allowing on-site seminars and regional video conferencing.  The program required the highest level of security for TVA employees and thus required tremendous coordination with all levels of TVA and building managers.

A 2,500 square-foot data center, designed to host applications for clients across the country, is connected to the rest of the facility by means of a 2.5inch-raised floor. Technology connects movable walls and  furniture, saving Private Business 80% annually in moves, additions, and changes when compared to costs at its previous facility.  The prominent red stripe of the logo for Private Business, Inc. was incorporated in the design of their lobby (below), as well as throughout the color scheme.
